Last Monday (01), the former UFC and WEC lightweight champion Ben henderson He took the MMA community by surprise when he announced his transfer to Bellator – the second biggest event today and Ultimate's main competitor. Three days later, this Thursday (04), Bendo posed for the first time as an athlete for the organization chaired by Scott Coker.

On social media, Henderson appeared wearing Bellator gloves and left a message for his fans. “First was the change. Now is the time to take control,” wrote “Smooth” alongside the photo.

When he left the UFC for Bellator, Bendo didn't forget his past in the old organization, but he was excited about the new beginning. ““I am beyond excited for the next phase of my career. It's a big change, like any other job change after working in the same place for a long time. I would be remiss if I didn't thank Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta for the opportunities they gave me”, wrote the athlete at the time.
