The UFC's new and rigorous anti-doping program, managed by the North American Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), claimed another “victim” and cost an event its main fight. The anti-drug agency notified Ultimate that the welterweight Tim means was caught in an examination carried out by the agency and, as a result, the fighter was removed from the fight against Donald Cerrone on February 21st.

The substance that Means was caught using during the exam, however, was not disclosed by USADA. The “Dirty Bird”, as he is known, can still appeal the result to the agency. Despite this, however, his withdrawal from the fight against Cerrone will be maintained by Ultimate regardless of whether the appeal is successful, due to the proximity to the fight date.
