Coming off three consecutive victories in the octagon, the TUF Brasil 2 veteran Thiago Marreta is another Brazilian selected for the next edition of the UFC scheduled for Brazil, in May. Marreta will face North American Nate Marquardt.

Nate Marquardt, 36 years old, has a record of 34 wins, 15 losses and one draw. Former champion of the extinct Strikeforce, Marquardt is coming off a knockout victory over CB Dollaway, which ended a streak of two consecutive setbacks for the North American.
The next edition of the UFC in Brazil is scheduled for May 14th, at a location yet to be defined. The main fight of the event, however, has already been defined by the organization and will put the middleweights face to face. Ronaldo Jacare e Vitor belfort.
