Carina Damm resumes her international career this Friday at the tenth edition of Strikeforce Challengers. The Brazilian will participate in a GP with four fighters, which will give the winner the right to compete for the event's 61-kilogram belt, currently held by Sarah Kaufman. Already in the United States, Carina shows confidence for the dispute and hopes to emerge as tournament champion.
“I want to show the American public that I'm the best,” said the Brazilian black belt in an interview with MMA Junkie. “I hope they can see how serious I am”, reaffirms Carina, who exudes confidence

The Strikeforce women's GP contest takes place this Friday and Carina is in contention along with Hitomi Akano, Maiju Kujala and Miesha Tate.
