In an interview with the website of the North American broadcaster “ESPN”, the North American giant believes that several of his division teammates use banned items in order to have a look more befitting a professional athlete.

“Let's face the truth. Being a big, ripped guy doesn't come naturally. Everyone wants to have that ripped look. For a guy who weighs 120 kg to have the look that everyone wants to see in a professional fighter, he needs help. I think this is another reason why the heavyweight division is full of dopers. Every category has it, but it's bad in the heavyweight division. These guys are changing. Watch the fight between [Alistair] Overeem and Dos Santos, both the fight itself and the weigh-in. There have been several changes and there will be more. I’m excited to be part of this”, said the American.

Rothwell returns to the UFC Octagon this Saturday (30), facing Josh Barnett at UFC New Jersey. He is coming off victories over Brandon Vera, alistair overeem and Matt Mitrione.
