Led by the long-awaited meeting between Rafael dos Anjos e Conor McGregor, UFC 197 has just added an all-Brazilian fight to its schedule. The runner-up of TUF Brasil 3 Vitor miranda will face Marcelo Guimarães, in a duel valid for the middleweight category.

At 36, Vitor miranda has a professional record of 11 wins and four losses. “Lex Luthor”, as he is known, comes from two consecutive victories, both by knockout, over Jake collier and Clint Hester.
Marcelo Guimarães, 32 years old, has a record of nine wins, one loss and one draw in MMA. “Magrão” hasn’t fought since 2014, when he beat Andy Enz in a split decision from the judges.
UFC 197 takes place on March 5th, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas (USA). In addition to the duel between Rafael dos Anjos and McGregor for the lightweight title, the event will also feature the first defense of the Holly holm, which will face Miesha Tate in the co-main event of the night.
