the fight between José Aldo e Conor McGregor, last month, is still causing people to talk. The Brazilian's former opponent from the WEC days, the current bantamweight Urijah faber lamented the former champion's “lack of luck” in the fight, but praised McGregor's “legendary” feat.

On that occasion, McGregor defeated Aldo in just 13 seconds with a knockout after landing a precise counterattack on the Brazilian's chin. Faber, who lost to Aldo in 2010, said it wasn't the Irishman's luck, but rather the former champion's bad luck.

“I feel bad for Aldo. Conor was unlucky, because he trained a lot for this, but it was very unlucky for Aldo. He could definitely perform better. But I was impressed with Conor. He talks and does. This is a legendary thing to do”, analyzed Faber, in an interview with the North American website “MixedMartialArts”.

Now, McGregor will move up to the lightweight division to challenge the weight champion, Rafael dos Anjos. As much as he recognizes the dangers of the Irishman's game, Faber predicts that the Brazilian could complicate his life. “To be honest, Conor has knockout power and, with him heavier, he will become even more dangerous. But Dos Anjos is no fool. He will probably learn from Aldo's mistake and the success of Chad Mendes. I think he will try to use grappling and make the situation ugly for Conor. If that happens, it will be a bad day for Conor,” he added.

Faber refers to McGregor's fight at UFC 189, in July 2015, when he suffered from Mendes' takedowns until he got the knockout. His fight against Dos Anjos will be the main attraction of UFC 197, on March 5, in Las Vegas (USA).
