Shortly after losing to Travis Browne at UFC Fight Night 81, last Sunday (17), in Boston, United States, Matt Mitrione already had a painful injury to his right eye. Therefore, it is not surprising that the fighter still had huge swelling the day after the fight, as he shared with his followers on Twitter.

During the fight, Mitrione suffered twice from illegal fingerprints in his eye from Browne, which caused almost instantaneous swelling. This Monday, when asked by a follower if the condition of his eye had improved, the North American responded in the clearest way possible: “Not really,” he wrote, posting the photo right after.

Mitrione's defeat, one of the most controversial moments of UFC Fight Night 81, was his fifth in his career, and the second in a row. Browne, who recently started dating the former champion Ronda Rousey, won for the 18th time, against three defeats and a draw.
