As reported by SUPER FIGHTS During the week, Carina Damm's participation in the Strikeforce women's GP was threatened, as the Brazilian was unable to obtain a work visa to fight in the United States. However, this weekend, all the bureaucracy was resolved and the Brazilian fighter is confirmed in the tournament.
With that, Carina joins Miesha Tate, Hitomi Akano and Maiju Kujala in the GP dispute that will give the winner the right to challenge champion Sarah Kaufman.
The tournament takes place at Strikeforce Challenger 9, an event that takes place on August 13th in Phoenix, in the United States.
