Every now and then, former boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. becomes involved in a controversy with some of the main names in MMA, such as Ronda Rousey ou Conor McGregor. Now, the billionaire has been targeted by another octagon star, Robbie Lawler. In an interview, the UFC welterweight champion even praised Mayweather in boxing, but assured that the boastful fighter would have no chance if he fought in mixed martial arts.

“He wouldn’t last two minutes against the best guys in the world. (Boxing) It's a totally different sport. It's not at our level. What would happen when they threw him on the ground and he was on his back? There are many variables. He’s great at what he does, but it’s another sport,” said Lawler, in an interview with the North American channel “ESPN”.
