After a few days of stalemate, the UFC finally made the superfight between the Brazilian Rafael dos Anjos, lightweight champion (up to 70 kg.) and the Irish Conor McGregor, owner of the featherweight belt (up to 66 kg.). The fight will be the main attraction of UFC 197, an event that takes place on March 5, in Las Vegas.

An impasse has been created in recent days and the duel between the two champions has been put at risk. However, this Tuesday (12), the UFC put the hammer down and officially announced the fight.
Rafael dos Anjos, 31 years old, has a professional record of 25 wins and seven losses. The Brazilian became lightweight champion in March 2015 after beating Anthony Pettis in a unanimous decision by the judges. In his last fight, on December 19th, Dos Anjos ran over Donald Cerrone in just 53 seconds and defended his title for the first time.
