McGregor responds to Mayweather's racist thesis and challenges: 'We can organize a fight'

The UFC champion refuted the accusations made by the boxer and even challenged him to settle the score

Conor McGregor It's not worth leaving it cheap. After boxer Floyd Mayweather related the success of the Irishman to racism in the world of fights, the UFC champion was free and fired at the highest paid athlete in the world.

Through a long post on Facebook, McGregor harshly criticized Mayweather's statement and linked prejudice against black people to the oppression suffered by the Irish people over the years.

“Floyd Mayweather, never link my success to race again. I'm Irish. My people have been oppressed since their existence. I understand the feeling of prejudice. It’s a feeling deep in my blood,” wrote Conor.

To avoid being cheap, the UFC champion even challenged the boxer to a 'settlement of scores'. “If you want, we can organize a fight, no problem”, added the Irishman.

In an interview with Fight Hype magazine, Mayweather stated that he did not know Conor McGregor, but said that the UFC champion was applauded by North American fans for talking nonsense and provoking his opponents, while he 'was cocky and arrogant' when he had the same stance. According to Floyd, this would be proof of racism within society in the United States.
