Shortly after defeating Chris Weidman and win the UFC middleweight belt, Luke Rockhold made a very direct request: he wanted the chance to have a rematch with his only tormentor in the Octagon, Vitor belfort. However, according to the champion himself, the fight should not happen soon.

In an interview with the North American broadcaster “FOX Sports”, Rockhold said he had discussed with UFC president, Dana White, the possibility of facing two athletes: Yoel romero or even a rematch with Weidman, since, according to him, the former champion is “begging” for another chance to fight for the title.
