The most famous octagon on the planet will arrive in Australia again, this time in the city of Brisbane, for UFC Fight Night 84. In the main fight of the event, which takes place on March 20th, the home athlete Mark Hunt faces former heavyweight champion Frank mir.

At 41, Mark Hunt has a professional record of 11 wins, ten losses and one draw. The New Zealander is coming off a victory over Antonio Pezão in November last year. Currently the “Super Samoan” is ninth in the heavyweight category rankings.
Yes, Frank mir, 36 years old, has a record of 18 wins and ten losses. After experiencing the worst moment of his career, accumulating four consecutive defeats, Mir turned things around and won two fights, Antonio Pezão and Todd Duffee. In his last fight, however, Mir, who appears tenth in the rankings, was defeated by Andrei Arlovski.
This will be the ninth time that the UFC will hold an event in the main country in Oceania. In the Octagon's last appearance on Australian soil, with UFC 193, the organization promoted one of the most memorable events in its history, breaking the historic attendance record and defeating Ronda Rousey for Holly holm.
