Holly holm had already been giving signs that the rematch against Ronda Rousey that would be later, Dana White had also commented on the possibility and now the next fight for the new Ultimate women's bantamweight champion took shape, and Ronda was actually left aside. Holm will face the former Strikeforce champion Miesha Tate in the co-main fight of UFC 197 in March.

Holm, 34 years old, has a professional record of ten fights and ten wins in MMA. The former boxing champion shocked the world last November, at UFC 193, by mercilessly knocking out Ronda Rousey and win the title of the women's bantamweight category. Miesha, 29 years old, has a record of 17 wins and five losses. Former Strikeforce champion, Miesha was defeated by Ronda Rousey twice, once in the now defunct organization and once in Ultimate.
