Carina Damm at the Strikeforce women's GP

With 10 consecutive victories in her career, Carina Damm begins to resume her international career after a harsh suspension for doping. According to the SUPER FIGHTS, the Brazilian will participate in the Strikeforce under-61 kilos (135 pounds) GP, where the winner will have the right to challenge the owner of the category belt, which comes from the duel between current champion Sarah Kaufman and challenger Roxanne Modafferi. The two-fight tournament is scheduled to take place at Strikeforce Challengers 10, on August 13, in Phoenix, United States.

This will be Carina's first fight in America since testing positive for Nandrolone in 2008, when she appeared at Femme Fatale Fighting 4 and submitted Sophie Bagherdai with an armbar.
