On his return to MMA after more than three years of retirement, Fedor Emelianenko achieved a quick victory at Rizin, an event held this Thursday (31) in Saitama, Japan. The 39-year-old Russian took just over three minutes to take down Jaideep Singh and win by technical knockout with strikes on the ground.
It was the 35th victory for Emelianenko, widely considered one of the greatest fighters of all time in MMA. The “Last Emperor”, as he is known, gained fame in the last decade by dominating the heavyweight division of PRIDE, a Japanese organization considered the largest on the planet in the last decade.
