James Toney
Veteran James Toney will make his MMA debut on August 28th, when he faces Randy Couture at UFC-118. The 42-year-old former boxing champion promises despite his age to make history in the UFC. Speaking to the American website MMA Junkie, Toney stated that he will be the Ultimate heavyweight champion and spared no words to challenge Couture and even Brock Lesnar.
“I couldn't join the UFC and fight a bum. I have to fight with the best, because I am the best”, he fired.
“I wanted to fight Brock Lesnar, but unfortunately at the time he was ill. I'm a boxing champion and I'll be a UFC champion at the same time. After I knock out Randy Couture, I'm going to kick his ass. Brock Lesnar”, stated the controversial James Toney.
The fight between James Toney and Randy Couture is on the main card of UFC-118, an event that takes place on August 28, in Boston and will have as its main attraction the fight for the lightweight belt between Frank Edgar and B.J. Penn
