Thiago Alves has a record of 13 wins and 3 losses, coming off a triumph over Chris Lytle at UFC-78, in November. Meanwhile, Karo Parisyan has a record of 18 wins and 4 losses and in his last appearance he beat Ryo Chonan, by judges' decision, also at UFC-78
