Holly holm shocked the world by overwhelmingly knocking out the super champion Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 in November. But with a rematch scheduled for mid-2016, the new champion does not expect an easy life against the former owner of the belt.

Holm believes that Ronda will be better trained for the rematch and the defeat will be additional motivation for her rival.
“I think Ronda will train twice as hard as she has trained before, because she is coming off a defeat and that motivates winning athletes like her. I think everything will be different, both physically and psychologically, because it is a new situation for her,” said Holm.
Despite recognizing Ronda's dangers in the rematch, Holly hopes her performance will be even better. According to the champion, despite her great performance in the first duel, she has not yet reached her peak at UFC 193.
“It will be my first rematch in MMA and I have to be more prepared for this fight than in the previous one. I didn't reach my full potential in that fight, because if I had, I would have been tired, which would have meant I wouldn't have anything to improve on. And that didn't happen. I dominated the fight, but it's over. Each fight is different, and the next one will certainly not be the same as the one before. I'm still learning to deal with that night. I knew it would be the best night of my life, or the worst. Fortunately it was for the best, but a lot of pressure appeared on me after that night”, added Holm.

Despite already counting on the rematch, the new duel between Holly holm e Ronda Rousey it has not yet been made official by Ultimate. The duel is tipped to be the main attraction of the historic UFC 200, scheduled for July 9th. But, part of Rousey's team believes that it is a short period for the fighter to return to competitions andcredit for a new fight only at the end of the year.
