The debut of Urijah faber among bantamweights is postponed. The “California Kid” suffered a knee injury during training and will not appear at the WEC-50, an event that takes place on August 18th, in the United States. As a result, Japanese Takeya Mizugaki, who would face Faber, awaits the definition of a new opponent.
According to several American websites, the former champion's injury is not serious and therefore there will be no need for surgical treatment, however, Urijah's return is only scheduled for September.
