Everything happened at the official UFC on FOX 17 weigh-in, held this Friday (18), in Orlando, United States. There were problems with the scales, fighters who didn't make weight, confusion and even a “lightsaber” duel. However, the main fights of the attraction were confirmed, mainly Rafael dos Anjos x Donald Cerrone for the lightweight belt.

Both the Brazilian, the champion, and the challenger were below the permitted limit, weighing 70 kg. In the traditional gaze, the two looked at each other seriously and exchanged provocations, but greeted each other.
"Can not wait. 'And new…' That's all I can say”, declared Cerrone, referring to the phrase said by announcer Bruce Buffer when challengers overthrow champions. Dos Anjos countered: “My body is completely healthy, so I want to prove to everyone that I am the best. I’m here to stay”, said the champion, who makes his first defense.
The moment that caught the attention of the weigh-in was the face-off between Cole Miller and Jim Alers. When it came time to face each other, the athletes were surprised and joined the bandwagon of the Star Wars film, simulating a duel with lightsabers, weapons used by the “Jedi Knights” in the series.
In total, two fighters did not make weight: Danny Castillo and the Brazilian Charles of the Bronx. The two, together with CB Dollaway, who only gained weight when he was naked, were surprised by what happened, and even the matchmakers of the UFC, Joe Silva, intervened to say that the scale was having problems.
