McGregor could be out for six months due to injury

Despite a quick fight at UFC 194, the Irishman will only fight before June 2016 if he presents tests on his left wrist

Despite the lightning victory achieved at UFC 194, last Saturday (12), Conor McGregor may be away from activity for six months according to the event's list of medical suspensions.

The Irishman, who took just 13 seconds to knock out José Aldo and unify the featherweight belts, he must present an x-ray examination on his left wrist or receive medical clearance. If this does not happen, McGregor will be banned from fighting until June 12, 2016.

UFC 194, in fact, featured several semester-long medical suspensions, with athletes only allowed to fight again in the event of tests that rule out injuries. The list includes the two fighters from the night's co-main attraction, Luke Rockhold e Chris Weidman, who competed for the middleweight title.

New champion of the category, Rockhold needs to present an x-ray of his left foot and ankle. Weidman, in turn, will have to undergo x-rays on both feet.

Names like Ronaldo Jacare, Urijah faber, Tecia torres, Colby covington, Yancy Medeiros and John makdessi They also received an entire semester of medical suspension, being released only in the case of tests that rule out more serious injuries.

Defeated in the main fight of the night, Aldo took a shorter hit: he must remain without physical contact until January 27th and without fighting until February 11th.
