Before the main fight of UFC 194 it seemed clear that, even if he lost to Conor McGregor, José Aldo would be entitled to a rematch for the belt. However, the way the Brazilian was defeated seems to have influenced president Dana White and the two possibilities indicated by the manager do not include a new meeting between the rivals immediately, as Aldo himself suggested while still in the octagon.
