The information was confirmed by president Dana White, during the press conference that followed UFC Fight Night 80, in the early hours of this Friday (11), in Las Vegas (USA). "A Claudia Gadelha is ready. She is already recovered and ready to fight, Joanna will be her next fight”, said the director, who did not say, however, what the possible date and location of the duel will be.
At 27, Claudinha gadelha has a professional MMA record of 13 wins and just one loss, precisely to Joanna – in a fight that is highly contested to this day. The Brazilian athlete from the Nova União academy is coming off a victory over Jessica Aguilar at UFC 190, last August.
Joanna Jedrzeczyk, 28 years old, has a record of 11 wins in 11 fights as a professional. After beating Claudinha by suffocation, the Polish woman calmly won against the then champion Carla esparza to win the strawweight category title and defended his belt on two occasions, against Jessica penne and Valerie Letourneau.
