'If I fought Jesus, I'd beat him up,' says McGregor

Irishman, who normally provokes other fighters, this time went further and gave a direct answer to the question from the North American website

It is not new that Conor McGregor is exuding confidence just days before facing José Aldo, at UFC 194. But if the Irishman normally directs his provocations at other fighters, even from different weight categories, this time he went beyond even his own parameters. McGregor declared that he could “beat the shit out of” none other than Jesus Christ in a hypothetical fight.

The interim UFC champion was asked about the subject by a report from the website “TMZ Sports”, which normally asks athletes unorthodox questions. McGregor initially laughed, but then went straight to his old style.

“Me against Jesus in the Octagon [laughs]? What would that be like? Well, I tell you one thing: there isn't a man alive who could beat me. But Jesus isn't alive, so who knows, he might come back from the dead. I don't know. But I would beat him up”, declared the fighter.

McGregor and Aldo face each other on the 12th, in Las Vegas, in the United States. The 27-year-old Irishman has a record of 18 wins and two losses in professional MMA, and he is undefeated in the UFC.
