Current UFC middleweight champion, Chris Weidman showed his followers on Instagram that he is in excellent physical shape for his fourth belt defense, on the 12th, against Luke Rockhold.

The North American, who fights in the 83,9 kg category, apparently stuck to his diet, as he says he weighs 87 kg at the moment. Therefore, Weidman should have a relatively easy weight cut for the event. He has just over 11 days to lose three kilos, an amount that can be considered adequate taking into account the ban on fighters rehydrating with intravenous fluid after weigh-ins.
Weidman posted a short video on his Instagram in which he appears doing “shadow” boxing after performing five rounds of sparring, that is, a simulation of the fight itself. The duel between Weidman and Rockhold will be the co-main attraction of UFC 194, in Las Vegas (USA), just before the long-awaited fight between José Aldo e Conor McGregor.
