Despite its deep and extremely philosophical themes, the film “The Matrix” took box offices around the planet and gained a legion of fans especially for its innovative special effects for the late 90s and breathtaking action scenes. Now, more than a decade and a half after the release of the film that opened the Watchowski brothers trilogy, the Irishman Conor McGregor will reproduce the movements immortalized by Neo, Morpheus, Trinity and Agent Smith against José Aldo at UFC 194. The guarantor is the trainer of the interim featherweight champion, John Kavanagh.

“It won’t take long for Conor to unravel Aldo. It's almost like in 'The Matrix', he sees a new problem being presented, does the download has the correct answer to that movement in his brain and executes the plan”, said Kavanagh, when asked about how the main fight of UFC 194 would go, in an interview with the podcast “The MMA Hour”.

Furthermore, the leader of Straight Blast Gym refuted Aldo's accusations and assured that, contrary to what the Brazilian has been saying, McGregor was tested, a lot, by anti-doping bodies. “Unlike some other fighters, we did not feel it necessary to announce on social media that we were tested. A record of who was tested, and when it happened, is available on the USADA website, the information is there for everyone to see. And I'll tell you more: the Irish Sports Council doesn't ask you to take a selfie after collecting your urine or 'destroy' a sample, much less involve the police and ask for visas and permits. We deliver the tests, as requested, and then continue training. Simple”, said the coach.

After years of teasing, Aldo and McGregor finally meet inside the octagon in the main fight of UFC 194, on December 12th, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas (USA). The duel between the rivals will be valid for the unification of the linear and interim titles in the featherweight category.
