The team of Conor McGregor has been exuding confidence for the Irishman's fight against José Aldo, on December 12th, in Las Vegas (USA). The belief in victory is such that the big question on the mind of John Kavanagh, the fighter's main trainer, is how long the fight will last. And, for him, the duel will certainly not last more than ten minutes.

In an interview with the North American website “MMA Fighting”, Kavanagh showed certainty that the fight will not take place in all five scheduled five-minute rounds. “I can see the fight lasting two rounds, but another part of me sees it ending in 60 seconds. But we give due respect to José Aldo because he’s been the champion for a long time,” stated the SBG Ireland gym leader.

Kavanagh stated that his pupil is prepared even if Aldo decides to completely change his style to face him. “He [Aldo] will probably try to slow down and start a grappling match. However, with Conor's intelligence and the way he sees situations, even if Aldo comes with a completely new style, it won't take long for Conor to understand. At this point in the championship, it will be very difficult for anyone to last more than seven or eight minutes with Conor. If it’s not an extremely quick fight, I definitely can’t see it lasting more than two rounds,” he insisted.

the fight between José Aldo e Conor McGregor will be the main attraction of UFC 194. The Brazilian has dominated the featherweight division since it was created in Ultimate in 2011; McGregor, in turn, won every fight he had in the octagon, with only one of them going to a decision.
