Rich Franklin
Scheduled for the main fight of UFC-115, Rich Franklin will face the legend Chuck Liddell. “Ace”, as the former middleweight champion is known, says he always thought about fighting the former owner of the light heavyweight belt, Chuck Liddell.
“I always thought about facing Liddell. I kept imagining what it would be like to fight this or that person, but I never thought the fight would happen, as I was a fighter weighing 84 kilos and he weighed 93”, said Franklin, who sees some coincidences between his career and that of his opponent.
“We were both champions of our divisions and we didn't have enough candidates to worry about who we would defend the belt against... Today, Chuck is already a Hall of Fame fighter, a UFC legend”, praised Rich, speaking to MMA Fighting.
The fight between Chuck Liddell and Rich Franlin is the main attraction of UFC-115, the event takes place on June 12, in Vancouver, Canada.
