Always used to the spotlight and overexposure in the media, the former UFC champion Ronda Rousey has maintained a much more discreet routine since she was knocked out and lost her title to her rival Holly holm, on November 14th in Melbourne (Australia). The first image of Ronda after the setback, however, ended up being released in an unusual way and came through a post from her mother on social media.

In his official profile at Instagram, former judoka AnnMaria de Mars published a photo of the celebration of “Thanksgiving Day, the most traditional North American holiday, celebrated this Thursday (26), in which Ronda can be seen. “The whole family gets together and we try to do a themed photo for my mom. The 'Thanksgiving' theme was 'funny hats,'" De Mars wrote.

In the image it is possible to see that Ronda, who appears wearing a ushanka (traditional Russian cap/hat) alongside her sisters, nephews and brothers-in-law, she does not have any more obvious scars or marks on her face, the result of the blows suffered in the defeat to Holm and even the plastic surgery on her lip that she would have undergone shortly after the duel. Ronda had even been caught by paparazzi upon her arrival at Los Angeles airport, but the blonde covered her face with the help of a blouse and a hood, and was also escorted by her boyfriend Travis Browne throughout her journey.

Now with a professional record of 12 wins and one loss, Ronda Rousey lost not only his invincible aura but also the UFC bantamweight belt in his defeat to Holly holm. Although it has not been confirmed by the organizers of the event, the tendency is that in her next fight, Ronda will have an immediate rematch against Holm, who has been speculated as one of the possible highlights of UFC 200 – scheduled for July 2016 in Las Vegas (USA ).
