UFC 194, an event that promises to be one of the greatest in the history of the largest MMA organization on the planet, suffered its first blow to its schedule, with the injury and subsequent cut of the strawweight fighter Michelle Waterson, known as “A Gata do Karatê” (“The Karate Hottie”, in English) on the card.

At UFC 194, Michelle Waterson would face Tecia torres. So far, the Ultimate organization has not announced Waterson's replacement, but the tendency is for a new opponent for Torres to be confirmed in the coming days.

At 29, Michelle Waterson has a professional record of 13 wins and four losses. The “Karate Girl” trains at the “Jackson's MMA” gym, where she is a partner of the current bantamweight champion Holly holm e Jon Jones. Waterson is coming off a victory over Angela Mangana in her Ultimate debut in July this year.

UFC 194 takes place on December 12th, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas (USA). In the main fight of the night, José Aldo will face your great rival Conor McGregor in the unification of the Ultimate featherweight belts. In the evening's co-main event, Chris Weidman face Luke Rockhold in a duel valid for the middleweight title.
