After the defeat of Ronda Rousey for Holly holm, at UFC 193, many took the opportunity to mock and make fun of the now former women's bantamweight champion. However, there are also those who want to help the American sharpen her game to regain the belt. This is the case of Rafael dos Anjos, UFC lightweight champion, who expressed his desire to see the fighter preparing at the gym where he trains, Kings MMA.

The team, led by Rafael Cordeiro, is also responsible for preparing another UFC champion, Fabricio Werdum, in the heavyweight category. Dos Anjos believes that Kings MMA could provide Ronda with all the tools needed to turn things around.
“It would be great for her to come here. We have great energy. It's not because I train here, but master Rafael Cordeiro has over 28 years of experience in MMA. It would be great for Ronda. We would certainly have excellent training for her, great training partners, great coaches. Master Cordeiro would make a great strategy for her. If she comes, she will have everything she needs to win back the belt”, declared Dos Anjos, in an interview with the North American website “MMA Fighting”.
For the Brazilian, the fact that Ronda is disaffected by Chris Cyborg, Cordeiro's offspring and friend of several Kings MMA members, wouldn't be a problem. “We could make it work. I think, for my part, she would always be welcome here,” she added.
Since starting her MMA career, Ronda has trained at Glendale Fighting Club, under the supervision of Edmond Tarverdyan. Despite Dos Anjos' invitation, the champion has not yet publicly expressed her desire to change teams.
