As expected, the surprising outcome of UFC 193 caused important changes in the official rankings of the largest MMA organization on the planet. Defeated in the main event of the event in Australia, Ronda Rousey lost a lot of ground on the pound-for-pound list, even leaving the top 10.

The former women's bantamweight champion dropped from fourth to 11th place in the order, which excludes fighters' weight or size. Ronda is now after names like Daniel Cormier, Rafael dos Anjos e Cain Velazquez. José Aldo leads. In the up to 61 kg division, the Olympic judoka occupies first place, as the new champion of the category, Holly holm, is not on the list.

Holm even makes his debut in the weight-for-pound rankings. The new Ultimate champion is ranked 13th, ahead of the women's strawweight belt holder, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, who also won at UFC 193.

Another big novelty in the ranking is the return of Jon Jones. The American, excluded from the list since his light heavyweight belt was taken away due to a controversial traffic accident, has returned to his name both in his category and in the pound-for-pound category. Among light heavyweights, Jones jumped to first place, and, counting all categories, he is in fifth.
