Many actors, singers and other celebrities spoke out in response to the shock of the UFC 193 main fight. And, interestingly, there were those who showed solidarity with the now former champion, but there were also those who took advantage of her setback to celebrate or express their antipathy towards Rousey.
the ex-boxer Mike Tyson sent words of solidarity to Rousey, remembering that a champion is not made only of victories. Singer Demi Lovato, a declared fan of “Rowdy”, declared that she will continue to support the fighter faithfully.
Messages against Rousey also came in force. Businessman and US presidential candidate Donald Trump said he was happy with the result of the fight, adding that the fighter “is not a good person”. Rapper 50 Cent posted a montage satirizing the former champion, even joking that the one who asked for the post was his friend Floyd Mayweather, a declared dislike of Ronda. Singer Lady Gaga was also happy with the result, especially given the fact that Rousey refused to greet Holm before the fight started.
