The dream of almost every MMA athlete is to be able to compete for the title of the biggest organization on the planet, the UFC. But at the moment this is not the case Claudia Gadelha, the main Brazilian fighter in the women's straw division of Ultimate. More than the belt, Claudinha wants the chance to fight again Joanna Jedrzejczyk, the only executioner of his career.

Gadelha and the Polish woman faced each other in December 2014, at UFC on FOX 13. In a fierce fight, Joanna won a split decision from the judges, a result that was highly contested by fans.
After that, Jedrzejczyk won the category title, and will make her second belt defense this Sunday (15) in Australia, Saturday night in Brazil, against Valérie Létourneau. Claudinha stated that she wants to face the Pole even if her arch-rival leaves the Octagon defeated in her next fight.
“Actually, I don’t have my eye on the title. I'm keeping an eye on my fight with Joanna. I want her to win so we can fight for the title, but if she doesn't win, I want to fight her anyway”, explained the Brazilian, in an interview with the North American website “MMA FIighting”. “I want to face her because I think I beat her. I think we need to fight again to make it clear who is the best strawweight in the world. I think I won that fight, but the judges gave her the victory,” he added.
UFC president Dana White confirmed that Claudinha is expected to fight for the belt next. Jedrzejczyk and Létourneau will take part in the co-main fight of UFC 193 in Melbourne, moments before Ronda Rousey measure forces with Holly holm.
