WFE-6 with card changes

The sixth edition of the WFE, an event that takes place on May 26th, in Salvador, had a big drop in its card. The 93-kilogram champion, Bruno Carioca, fractured a rib during training and will not defend his belt against Leonardo Chocolate. The show's organizers defined that the fight is scheduled for the seventh edition of the event, scheduled to take place in August.

 

If Bruno Carioca's injury was a shower of cold water, the WFE organization worked quickly to arrange a new fight. Without wasting time, he chose the Bahian heavyweight Ednaldo Lula, who is coming off a victory over the experienced Edson Draggo in the last edition of the event, to compete for the category belt against Joaquim “Mamute” from Minas Gerais. The confrontation will have a special ingredient. Lula will have the chance to avenge his training partner Júnior Cigano dos Santos for the only setback in his career.
