Ronda's coach files for bankruptcy in the United States

Edmond Tarverdyan says he has had no income for more than six months and declares debt of more than US$700

Se Ronda Rousey is experiencing the best phase of his career, both inside and outside the Octagon, the same does not apply to the members of his team. The UFC champion's head coach, Edmond Tarverdyan, filed a bankruptcy petition at the end of the first half of this year, which is expected to be concluded later this month.

According to documents obtained by the North American website “Bloody Elbow”, Tarverdyan claims to be unemployed and says he has had no financial income in recent months. Furthermore, the coach claims to have more than US$700 in debt, mainly with North American banks.

To file for bankruptcy, Tarverdyan needed to show all of his financial income for a period of six months, between January 1 and June 30, 2015. Even though Ronda put up a fight in the meantime, against Zingano catIn February, Tarverdyan says his income was negative $110 per month.

The coach should meet with his creditors on November 16th, that is, just two days after his athlete's long-awaited fight at UFC 193, when the champion defends her belt again against Holly holm in Melbourne, Australia.
