“I have some good ideas for women’s boxing. I promised the female fighters that Golden Boy would be involved with them, so we have something growing. We've already talked, and when she's ready to step into the ring as a boxer, Golden Boy Promotions will be by her side. She's tough, she's really good. Speed, power, instinct… This is very important. She takes risks to become great, unlike many others. I know she can fight standing up, I've seen it, but it's a matter of having the first fight and proving herself. That’s all”, analyzed De la Hoya, in an interview with the YouTube channel “Fight Hub TV”.

Before thinking about boxing, Ronda has a mission scheduled for UFC 193, on November 14th. In the octagon set up at the Etihad Stadium, in Melbourne, Australia, the champion will defend her belt again against Holly holm.
