Chris Weidman predicts UFC 194 won't break PPV record

UFC 194, especially the unification of the interim and linear featherweight belts between Conor McGregor e José Aldo, is the greatest hope of the biggest MMA organization on the planet to set a new record for sales of pay-per-view. “I just want the card not to suffer from adversity (such as injuries and cuts). If that happens, I'd say UFC 194 will sell... say, 1,4 million pay per view“, said the champion, in an interview with the North American program “The MMA Hour”. The number pointed out by Weidman, however, would not be enough to surpass the 1,6 million packages sold for UFC 100, the absolute sales record holder to date.

UFC 194 will take place on December 12th, at the MGM Grand Garden, in Las Vegas (USA), and will end one of the busiest weeks in Ultimate's history.
