Keeping an eye on Ronda, Cyborg displays physical shape during weight cut

In the month of November, the Brazilian Chris Cyborg will take her first step towards the superfight against her rival Ronda Rousey and will make her first fight at combined weight, intermediate to the featherweight and lightweight divisions, at Invicta FC. On social media, Cyborg made a point of showing the progress of his weight cut and showed off his current physical shape to his fans.

“My next fight at invicta FC will be catchweight 5 pounds (approximately 2,2 kg) below my category (featherweight)”, wrote the fighter in her Instagram, along with an image that appears much “drier” than usual.

The exact date of return Chris Cyborg to the ring has not yet been made official, but, according to Invicta FC president Shannon Knapp, the duel will take place in November, in an event with no confirmed date and against an opponent yet to be defined.

Who also returns to the octagon in the penultimate month of the year is Ronda Rousey. The Ultimate women's bantamweight champion will put her belt on the line against the undefeated challenger Holly holm. The title duel will be the main fight of UFC 193, an event scheduled for Etihad Stadium, a football stadium with a capacity for more than 70 thousand fans, in Melbourne, Australia.
