Elected as the best MMA coach in 2009, the leader of the Jackson’s Submission Fighting team, Greg Jackson, came to the Brazilian’s defense Anderson Silva, after his presentation in front of the also Brazilian, Demian Maia at UFC-112. The American stated in an interview with The Fight Show that he had fun with the fight.
“I really liked the first part of the fight, with Anderson changing his style, as if he were Machida, then he did things like the Diaz brothers (Nick and Nate diaz), then Muhammad Ali,” he said.
“I was having fun with all the different styles he was simulating, like he was testing his skills. And then, in the last half of the fight, I think he tried to get away by playing intelligently, or he got tired. One way or another, for me, it wasn't all a misfortune”, concluded Greg Jackson, who has among his team greats like the Canadian Georges St Pierre, Shane carwin e Rashad evans.
