If before, then the training companions of TJ Dillashaw e Urijah faber denied any possibility of facing each other in the UFC, today the situation is very different. Since the bantamweight champion left Team Alpha Male, the chances of a fight between the two finally happening have grown, which was endorsed by Dillashaw himself.

TJ announced last week that he would be leaving the team in Sacramento to join the new MP Elevation, which will be based in the US state of Colorado. Faber, leader of Alpha Male, was unhappy with the change and closed the door on any possible return of Dillashaw.

The bantamweight champion was disappointed with Faber's response and stated that a fight between them is now possible, although it is not his desire.

“I didn't think I would fight him until he started saying the things he said. He's the one saying he wants to fight me. I thought we were more friends than that, so I gave my soul to the team. Of course he's looking for a big fight in his career, but... I don't want to have to fight him, but if this is the last big fight of his career, that's how it's going to be. But that’s not exactly the way I want to do things,” said Dillashaw, in an interview with “The MMA Hour” podcast.
