MMA provides some very unusual situations for fighters. The biggest proof of this is the UFC flyweight division. Joseph Benavidez. The athlete, who climbed into the octagon last Saturday (03) at UFC 192 and defeated Ali Bagautinov, married just six days later to UFC reporter Megan Olivi.
The unforeseen event caused by the fight came at the time of the traditional exchange of rings at the altar. With his left hand still quite swollen from the fight, the ring didn't fit on Benavidez's finger. Despite the unexpected, Joseph acted with good humor and shared the story with his fans on Twitter.
“When you fight six days before your wedding…your ring may or may not fit,” the flyweight wrote in the caption of the image. Check out the photo below:
