Yair Rodriguez obtained a relatively quiet victory at UFC 192, an event held last Saturday (3). On that occasion, the promising Mexican dominated Daniel Hooker for three rounds, scoring victory without any major scares in the judges' decision. However, the day was not just full of joy for the fighter.
Still in the octagon, Rodriguez showed the cameras that he had a bruise on his foot, which was already quite swollen. However, the situation became even uglier as the days passed. Rodriguez's trainer, Izzy Martinez, sent some photos of the fighter's foot to the North American website “MMA Fighting” – and the image is impressive.
Martinez said he still doesn't know exactly how serious Rodriguez's injury is. “Pantera”, 23 years old, has a record of seven wins and one loss in professional MMA, including the TUF Latin America title in 2014.
Rodriguez's foot was quite swollen after the fight.
