Ronda Rousey is famously one of the most dominant champions in MMA history, but this was not enough for bookmakers to place the bantamweight as the main favorite for UFC 193. Despite Ronda's presence on the card, bookmakers pointed to Polish Joanna Jedrzejczyk with an almost unprecedented advantage in the Octagon's recent history.

According to the specialized website “Best Fight Odds”, Joanna appears with an incredible odds of -2000, that is, to win 100 dollars the bettor will have to invest no less than US$2000, a profit margin of a “measly” five cents for every dollar wagered. On Letourneau's side, the situation is very different. Quoted at +900, the Canadian pays 900 dollars for every 100, that is, it multiplies the bettor's investment by nine in case of victory.
Despite Jedrzejczyk's advantage, bookmakers' previews for the fight between Ronda Rousey e Holly holm, pointed out by the champion countless times as her biggest challenge in the octagon, are also not very evenly matched.
