After losing twice to the UFC flyweight champion, Demetrious Johnson, John Dodson You must change category from your next fight. According to the “UFC Tonight” program, the fighter will return to the bantamweight division, where he made his UFC debut.
In the up to 61 kg category, Dodson won the reality show The Ultimate Fighter 14. In the final of the program, he knocked out TJ Dillashaw, who is today the champion of the category in Ultimate. He then moved down to the flyweight category, where he beat all of his opponents except the champion.
According to the fighter's manager, the change should be positive due to the ban on the use of intravenous fluids after weigh-ins, in addition to greater anti-doping supervision in the UFC.
