Ronaldo's company charges R$120 in debt from Corinthians to Anderson Silva

In 2012, Ronaldo Fenômeno, Anderson Silva and Corinthians established a successful relationship, which marked the former UFC champion's peak in the Octagon. However, even years after the end of the link between Anderson and the São Paulo club, and even between the fighter and the 9ine (sports marketing company owned by the former Brazilian national team striker), the story continues to yield developments. This is because the agency is now demanding a debt owed by Timão to Spider, with an estimated value of around R$120.

According to the website of the “ESPN Brasil” channel, the 9ine opened an enforcement action for a fixed amount against a solvent debtor against Corinthians in the amount of R$ 120.368,53, corresponding to the original amount of R$ 86.664,00 plus monetary correction, interest and a 20% fine. In the process, the company requests payment of the debt within three days, or else the club would have its assets seized as a form of guarantee.

Corinthians' debt with 9ine it would refer to an agreement signed on November 30, 2013, by which the club would disburse 12 installments of R$10.833. However, only four of these would have been paid by the Parque São Jorge team. According to the lawsuit, “there have been numerous friendly attempts at collection, all of which were unsuccessful, and it has been more than a year since Corinthians did not make the first payment to the company.”

After the opening of the process, the 9ine by the judge responsible for the case the delivery of additional documents, such as a copy of the contract between the parties, as the company would have initially only presented an extra-judicial notification. Corinthians, through its legal director Rogério Mollica, states that it has not yet received any notification of the case.
