Currently one of the main names in Team Alpha Male, the rooster champion TJ Dillashaw, the only holder of a UFC belt on the Californian team, is leaving the academy led by Urijah faber. Dillashaw will be part of a new team that will be founded in the city of Denver, in the US state of Colorado.

The information was released on the website of the “Combate” channel. According to the publication, TJ will join a team formed by one of his main sponsors, the supplement company “Muscle Pharm”. Still according to the report, the new team should be called “MP Elevation”, where it should be teammates with names like Zingano cat e Brandon thatch.

Dillashaw's break with Alpha Male comes precisely at a time of greatest tension between the team leader Urijah faber and former coach Duane “Bang” Ludwig, considered one of the main people responsible for TJ’s technical evolution. Possibly without the approval of Team Alpha Male, TJ Dillashaw returns to the Octagon on January 17th, in Boston (USA). On the date, the bantamweight champion puts his title on the line against the former title holder Dominick Cruz, in the main event of UFC Fight Night 81.
