In an interview with Joe Rogan's podcast, Cerrone declared that Pettis had offered help with training, since, in his words, the former champion “hates Dos Anjos”, the athlete who dethroned him in March. However, Pettis clarified the misunderstanding and said he would never train with another athlete in his category.
